Seth Jurcyk represents the interests of employers and insurance carriers in various workers’ compensation matters. He writes submission letters, appellate briefs, seminar materials, and litigation strategies. He also conducts research and drafts legal memoranda on complex legal issues.
Before joining McAnany, Van Cleave, and Phillips, Seth obtained his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Kansas. He additionally obtained a Minor in Business and precipitated in the school’s club waterski team.
Seth obtained his J.D. from the Washburn University School of Law. While in Law School, Seth gained practical legal experience by participating in Washburn’s Law Clinic, where he advised indigent clients through various civil matters. Additionally while in law school, Seth worked as a Governmental Affairs and Legislative Intern with the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. In this position, Seth worked in the statehouse with the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Team as well as public officials in researching and presenting changes for current and proposed legislation.
Seth currently lives In Kansas City, Missouri, on the Plaza and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. He is an avid Kansas Jayhawks fan.
