Samantha Benjamin-House focuses on defending employers' and insurance carriers' interests in workers' compensation claims in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.  She educates her clients in ways to reduce the number of claims that arise and to minimize their overall exposure.

Ms. Benjamin-House's expertise includes defending issues involving jurisdiction, occupational diseases, and statute of limitations.  She has also argued successfully before the Kansas Court of Appeals.

When Ms. Benjamin-House is not representing the interests of employers and insurance carriers, she is very active in the community.  A shareholder with McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A., she has sat on the Missouri Bar Association's board of directors and is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Committee.  Ms. Benjamin-House volunteers her time at Wayside Waifs, Catholic Charities, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Special Olympics.  She is the 2006 recipient of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City's Public Service Award.
