Mr. Cook clerked for McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips during the summers between his second and third years of law school and returned as an associate after graduation.  His practice focuses on defending employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters.  He has successfully defended claims throughout the state of Missouri and Illinois.

Additionally, Mr. Cook authors briefs for the Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, and the Missouri Court of Appeals - Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts.  He also regularly prepares Medicare set-aside trust proposals in workers' compensation cases involving Medicare-eligible claimants.

Mr. Cook and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Webster Groves, Missouri.  They are active in their church and in the community of Webster.  They spend much of their free time updating their 85-year-old home.  Although they now consider themselves St. Louisians, they are still passionate Indiana University basketball fans and watch the Hoosiers at every opportunity.
