Jodi Fox specializes in defending employers’ and insurance carriers’ interest. She began her practice in Oklahoma and now also handles cases throughout Kansas and Missouri. Ms. Fox is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Ms. Fox has a Masters’ Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa and assists employers with strategies for how to minimize their exposure, as well as reduce claims, as part of their overall work environment.
While in Tulsa, Ms. Fox served on the Board of Directors for the Workers’ Compensation section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Since moving to the Kansas City area, Ms. Fox has been active in her church and with community affairs. Along with State Representative Jason Grill, Ms. Fox successfully lobbied the state legislature to change the law affecting how deployed soldiers renew their drivers’ licenses, an issue that directly affected Ms. Fox’s husband Jeff, who was deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Ms. Fox enjoys running in her free time and has completed several marathons; however, she and her husband find that the majority of their time is now spent running after their two young daughters. She currently serves as troop leader for her elder daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.
