Lyndsay Spiking represents the interests of employers' and workers' compensation carriers in various workers' compensation matters, seeking favorable resolutions with injured workers by successfully negotiating settlement agreements and seeking dismissals in other claims. She often writes submission letters, appeals briefs, and workers' compensation seminar materials. She also conducts research and drafts memoranda on a range of legal issues. Ms. Spiking obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, Ms. Spiking was a staff member of the ABA journal, Urban Lawyer, for which she authored a case note published in the Winter Volume, 2008. She was also a member of Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity and volunteered her time fundraising for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as a member of the Association of Women Law Students. Ms. Spiking currently resides in Waldo with her husband, Luke, and their two dogs. She and her husband are avid Mizzou fans and also enjoy running, hiking, camping and various other outdoor activities.
