Mary Nero currently practices in a variety of legal areas, including education law, labor and employment, lending practices, mechanic's liens, and general civil litigation. Ms. Nero assists clients by researching complex legal issues. She also spends her time drafting court documents, Medicare Set-Asides, and legal memoranda. Ms. Nero is active in preparing seminar materials and speaking at seminars pertaining to education, employment, and other dynamic areas of the law.
Before joining McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, Ms. Nero worked as a research assistant for one of her professors, assisting in the areas of Missouri contract law and business organizations. She served as a chairperson to the Hispanic Law Students Association and was an active member of the Women's Law Association.
Ms. Nero currently lives in the Waldo area. She loves spending her time playing sports, listening to music, engaging in outdoor activities, and taking care of rescue animals. She is also a lifelong Mizzou fan, as she received both her undergraduate and law degrees there.
