Daniel J. Schmitz represents employers and insurance carriers in defending workers' compensation claims in Missouri.
 
Mr. Schmitz earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.  During his undergraduate career, he conducted opposition research for the Senate Campaign of then-Congressman, now-Senator Tom Udall in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  After graduation, he attended law school at the University of Missouri - Columbia where he graduated in the top 10% of his class.  While in law school, Mr. Schmitz received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Constitutional Law, as well as the Judge Roy W. Harper Prize for Best Work in Constitutional Law. 
 
Mr. Schmitz lives in St. Louis with his wife and two dogs, Roxy and Oscar.  In his spare time, Mr. Schmitz enjoys playing the guitar, reading, and watching reality television with his wife.
