Kelsy Allison represents the interest of employers’ and workers’ compensation carriers in various workers’ compensation matters. She writes submission letters, appellate briefs, and seminar materials. She also conducts research and drafts memoranda on complex legal issues.
Before joining McAnany, Van Cleave, and Phillips, Ms. Allison received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Drury University. While attending Drury University, Ms. Allison was a member of the Women’s soccer team and served at the team captain for three years.
Ms. Allison subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2013. While attending Washburn Law, Ms. Allison served as a LexisNexis student research representative. In the 2013 fall semester, Ms. Allison was awarded the Irvine E. Ungerman Award for her work in the Washburn Law Clinic representing indigent clients in various civil matters. Additionally, during law school, Ms. Allison served as a legislative intern in the Kansas House Minority Leader’s office for Representative Paul Davis and Representative Tom Burroughs.
Ms. Allison currently lives in Shawnee, KS with her husband. She enjoys playing soccer, golf, running, and spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid Sporting KC fan.
