Adam Brillhart represents the interests of employers and insurance carriers in various workers’ compensation matters. He writes submission letters, appellate briefs, seminar materials, and litigation strategies. He also conducts research and drafts legal memoranda on complex legal issues.
Prior to law school, Adam worked in a variety of capacities in the financial sector, including personal loans, mortgages, life insurance, and real estate title insurance. He also guided clients through real estate closings and helped educate individuals on various issues related to mortgages, debt, and budgeting. It was in this capacity that Adam realized he wanted to help educate clients in a more profound way and earned his Juris Doctorate in order to achieve that goal.
While in Law School, Adam was a Dawson Scholar for all 2.5 years he attended. He also gained practical legal experience in Washburn’s Law Clinic, where he advised indigent clients through various legal issues.
Adam currently lives in Olathe, KS with his wife, two adorable daughters, and two Alaskan Malamutes. He spends his free time with his family and friends enjoying things to do in and around the Kansas City area. He is an avid Royals, Chiefs, and Jayhawks fan.
