MVP Attorney Retires after Nearly 40 Years with the Firm

Charles A. Getto is retiring from McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips (MVP) after nearly 40 years with the firm. 

Mr. Getto is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, where he was the UCLA Law Review article editor and an Order of the Coif member, an organization of students in the top ten percent of their graduating class.

Charlie joined MVP in 1978 and became a shareholder in 1981.  During his time at the firm he specialized in directors and officers liability, products liability and complex litigation.

Charlie has been active in the Inns of Court, and has served as president of the Earl E. O’Connor Inns of Court chapter.  He has been recognized by Super Lawyers for Business Litigation, Best Lawyers in America, and he has an AV rating through Martindale Hubbell.
