Spencer Low represents the interest of employers’ and workers’ compensation carriers in various workers’ compensation matters. He writes submission letters, appellate briefs, and seminar materials. He also conducts research and drafts memoranda on complex legal issues.
Before joining McAnany, Van Cleave and Phillips, Spencer received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Kansas State University. Spencer obtained his J.D. from Tulane University Law School. Spencer received a Sports Law Certificate from Tulane and was an active member of the Sports Law Society, including serving as a co-chair for the Tulane National Baseball Arbitration Competition. Spencer also served as the Business Editor for the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and published an article on trademark protections for political campaign websites. Additionally, Spencer served as an extern with the General Counsel’s office for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board throughout his third year of law school.
Spencer currently lives in Westwood, Kansas and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Spencer is also a certified barbecue judge and enjoys judging competitions around Kansas City. Spencer is an avid fan of the Kansas State Wildcats as well as the Chiefs and Royals
