Stephen A. McManus
Stephen McManus is the managing shareholder of the firm's St. Louis office and has previously served on the MVP Law Board of Directors. Steve focuses his practice on representing self-insured employers, third-party administrators and insurance carriers in the defense of a worker’s compensation claims in Missouri and Illinois.Steve handles catastrophic and complex workers’ compensation claims involving permanent total disability, Social Security disability offset, Medicare Set-Asides, medical bill liens and wage differential claims. He also specializes in toxic exposure claims in the workers’ compensation practice area.
Steve speaks regularly at the Missouri and Illinois Self-Insured Association conferences. He also speaks regularly at the Missouri Division of Workers’ Compensation Annual Conference as well as numerous local and regional seminars. Steve is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America publication since 2010. He has also been listed in St. Louis Magazine’s Best Lawyers and has been listed as a Super Lawyer in Thompson Reuters Magazine since 2009.
Steve has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Kids Chance of Missouri, Inc. since 2005. When not working or volunteering he enjoys golfing, traveling and training his new dog.
